The Fairy Scientist
This is a little short I entered into a contest sponsored by The Reason Project, on Sam Harris' web site. The short clip features my granddaughter, Lydia as the Fairy Scientist. Enjoy. (Special thanks to Aunt Kara for providing the fairy costume).
What an entertaining and innocent little movie to bring us back to our childhood. Lydia is a natural and I love her passion. It made me think of how, as adults, we often forget to imagine and let go of the rigid thoughts we've accumulated throughout our years. I think you and Lydia deserve to win. Please let me know the outcome.
Gutsy: Yes, I will post the outcome of the contest. Lydia really is that inquisitive and skeptical! Her comments were unscripted and unrehearsed.
Mary: I can see Lydia following in the footsteps of her Aunt Kara. I am not sure the world is prepared for BOTH of them on the planet at the same epoch.
I love your film, Robert, and Lydia will make an exceptional scientist. It's about damn time somebody proved that faries exist, even though we all know that they do.

I'm going to tweet this too! Saw it on Kara's blog as well.
