However I recently ran across this video; and not being the purist that many bloggers are in avoiding stooping to draw upon YouTube for content, I gladly offer this very uplifting clip to pass on. Matt has discovered the way the world is really supposed to work.
(Do yourself a favor... Run it Full Screen. Enjoy!)

Love it! I want that job.
Awesome! Along those same lines I have to recommend a book by the sci-fi author Stephen Baxter called "Evolution". It charts the development of the human line from the little rat-like creature that had to deal with dinosaurs to what may be our future.
It pretty much boils everything down to the fact that even with different religions and cultures we are all one huge family. Its not a feel good book by any means, it teaches evolution is indifferent to the struggles of life. But yet after many have fallen away to extinction here we are.
I truly, truly enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. It does make one a bit more optimistic about the state of the world. :-)
Beautiful. I have seen it or one very like it before and it makes a person smile without a doubt. If people could just come together that way in bigger numbers, a lot of what is going wrong would stop.
Kitten I don't think he gets "paid" actually... but yeah, it looks like fun.
BeachBum I assume this is a non-fiction book. Sounds very interesting. A sci-fi author may have a great way of explaining technical topics. Carl Sagan wrote some sci-fi.
DJan I will confess to you that when I have watched it I get a little misti-eyed.
Rain Matt has done a few of these "Where in the world is Matt" videos. This is his latest.
On the kindle tonight catching up. I couldn't watch full screen but what I did see makes me want more! So tomorrow I will check out Mart's videos
I really loved the message conveyed by this.
Did wonder how he got himself into all those places but then today's photo elements allows for lots of editing.
Thank you for the smiles Robert :)
Awesome :) Loved it!
I saw this on the friendly Atheist blog (Matt is a humanist) and posted it to FB - it makes me smile every time I watch it.
That definitely put a smile on my face. It sure looks like a lot of fun!
Put this on my fb page as well. Gotta pass along the good stuff to balance out so much of the other.
